  • Variedad frente a cantidad.
  • Ofrecer solamente comida saludable.

Buckwheat diet, buckwheat diet, buckwheat diet for weight loss

Buckwheat has disappeared from the shelves of some grocery stores (however, there is no talk of any shortage yet), many are stockpiling in case of further spread of coronavirus infection COVID-2019 and forced quarantine and remember the benefits of the buckwheat diet. But is it possible to eat the same product day after day? Together with nutritionist Anna Ivashkevich, we figure out whether the buckwheat diet is good and whether it can harm health. nine0003

It’s no secret that buckwheat is the most useful cereal – in terms of protein content, it is the undisputed leader. And buckwheat also contains iron – however, inorganic (it is absorbed worse than the iron contained in meat), – magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, iodine, a set of amino acids necessary for the body and vitamins of group B. Fiber, which is present in buckwheat, cleanses the intestines .

The basis of the buckwheat diet is, of course, buckwheat – no other products are provided. Moreover, in order for this diet to be effective, buckwheat must be properly cooked – pour boiling water over it (in proportions as for porridge), wrap the dishes with a towel and leave overnight. The resulting buckwheat porridge should be consumed during the day in small portions. It is recommended to have six meals daily, and plan the last one at least four hours before bedtime. Please note: the buckwheat diet does not involve the use of salt, sugar, oil and any spices in the diet. nine0003

You can not be limited to one week, but extend the buckwheat diet for the second. In this case, it is imperative to supplement your diet with vegetables, fruits, herbs, nuts, unsweetened yogurt, dried fruits or bran. It is not worth continuing this diet for more than two weeks, and at least a month should pass between courses.

For those who understand that they will not be able to eat only buckwheat for a whole week, the creators of the diet offer a more sparing option, which includes other foods. nine0003

  • Breakfast: 100 g of buckwheat, a little low-fat cottage cheese, a glass of 1% kefir.
  • Lunch: 150 g buckwheat, 100 g boiled beef, 100 g vegetable salad.
  • Snack: an apple or a glass of 1% kefir.
  • Dinner: 100 g of buckwheat, a glass of 1% kefir.

Anna Ivashkevich

private nutritionist

– 100 grams of buckwheat contains 313 calories; 62.1 grams of carbohydrates; 3.3 grams of fat; 12.6 grams of proteins. It turns out that a person will consume no more than 1,565 kcal per day. The process of weight loss will go on actively, especially in people weighing more than 70 kg – the main metabolism in a person with such a mass exceeds 1,700 calories per day. nine0128

The advantage of the buckwheat diet is that of all cereals, buckwheat is rich in vegetable protein, which is good for the body. Buckwheat contains potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium to a greater or lesser extent, and minerals are important for the body. Buckwheat diet, if used infrequently, is one of the best and simplest.

But please note: it is better to refuse this mono-diet for pregnant women, children, people with type 1 and 2 diabetes, hypertensive patients, those who have gastrointestinal diseases (here it is better to diversify it with fish or dairy products), problems with the central nervous system .
