Casi todos los niños siguen unas pautas para dormirse o necesitan algún objeto para ello aunque hay muchas de estas manías que pueden resultar verdaderamente curiosas
Los profesionales aconsejan seguir unas pautas y establecer un ambiente apropiado para conseguir que los niños concilien el sueño. Todo esto es importante para conseguir una rutina a la hora de irse a dormir, aunque también ellos se crean sus propias pautas para dormirse que acaban convirtiéndose en auténticas manías. Estas costumbres suelen acompañarles hasta los dos o tres años y luego o bien las van olvidando o las modifican y las adaptan a su edad.
Puede que tus hijos sean de los que cuando tienen sueño no necesiten nada más y acaben rendidos en cualquier sitio y de cualquier manera. Pero seguro que muchos otros tienen sus propios «mecanismos» que han llegado a llamarte la atención o a dibujarte una sonrisa. En el top ten del ranking de costumbres para dormir tenemos el chuparse el dedo, pero podemos ir más allá e incluir a aquellos que además de chuparse el dedo gordo con otro de sus dedos se enganchan la nariz. Más difícil imposible.
Una manía también bastante frecuente es tocarse una oreja. Ahí están dale que te pego mientras tú piensas que al final la oreja le va a llegar al suelo. Muchos de estos pequeños también incluyen las orejas de los padres a sus preferencias. Y todavía se puede hacer más complicado: tocarse la oreja mientras tocan el codo de alguien. ¡Imagina lo difícil que puede resultar conseguir la postura adecuada para esto!
Seguro que a más de una mamá también le suena esto: enroscar el pelo y hacer tirabuzones con él. Y no, las pelucas no les valen así que tendrás que aguantar si a la mañana siguiente no te puedes peinar. Algunos prefieren los pelillos del brazo, pellizcan y pellizcan hasta llevarse los pelillos detrás.
Me he dado cuenta que tocar les suele relajar bastante ya que casi todas las manías consisten en esto. Muchos eligen sus muñecos de dormir no por lo que son sino por el material en el que están hechos. Los camisones o prendas de ropa de mamá también están entre los compañeros de sueños preferidos.
Me se de un caso muy curioso (y familiar): un bebé al que le encantaba tocar una de sus chaquetas para dormirse, era una «necesidad». Incluso para dormirse en el carro de paseo exigía tener su chaqueta. Pues bien, imaginaos en pleno verano con un calor sofocante y el peque con el abrigo de invierno encima, toda una postal.
Algunos son más rebuscados y complican todavía más su manía. Es el caso de un peque que tenía que sacar un hilo de las sábanas de la cuna o cama y pasárselo por la nariz para notar el cosquilleo. Todo un proceso digno del más sibarita. Estas son algunas de estas divertidas y curiosas manías que o he vivido o han llegado a mis oídos pero estoy convencida de que vosotr@s tendréis muchísimas más.

Hoy en este post del Blog de Mamá vamos a hablar de las manías de los bebés, veremos cuales son las más frecuentes y cuando pueden pasar a ser una “obsesión” También os contare como estamos viviendo este problema con Alejandro.

Pues veréis siendo sincera nunca me había planteado hablar de este tema, pero ahora que tengo un hijo que tiene una manía muy concreta me pareció bueno contarlo para que las familias que estén pasando por esta situación sepan identificar cuando pasamos de manía a obsesión.
Porque si, debemos estar pendientes de esto ya que si se convierte en obsesivo pueden empezar a causar malestar en el peque.
Deja de ser una manía cuando empieza a aparecer con muchísima frecuencia. Cuando notamos que la bebé o peque le irrita y le genera un enorme malestar no poder realizar esa acción.
Debemos estar pendientes porque el: “ya se le pasara cuando crezca” no sirve, posiblemente cambie por otras cuando crezca.
Como siempre me gusta empezar por el principio y antes de nombrar las manías más frecuentes toca decir lo que son las manías.
Las manías son acciones y costumbres que se repiten con mucha frecuencia. Los peques adoptan estas manías para controlar el estrés que les producen acontecimientos externos.
A veces simplemente las utilizan porque les aportan seguridad, pero ojo si se prolongan en el tiempo pueden ocasionar ansiedad. Y por supuesto no queremos eso para nuestros hijos/as.
Pues veréis familias después de mucho tiempo analizando estos comportamientos muchos especialistas manifiestan que las manías más frecuentes en peques son:
Algunos bebés por no hablar de la inmensa mayoría presentan alguna manía para poder conciliar el sueño.
Esto no es malo siempre y cuando veamos que si un día no puede realizarla no se desespera.
Seguro que alguna os sonara, tocarse la oreja, acariciar a mamá/papá, tocarse el pelo, incluso como en el caso de Dulce dormir con un Dou-Dou… Esto le aporta seguridad y confianza pero siempre debemos saber que si se despierta en la noche va a necesitar de estas cosas para poder volver a conciliar el sueño.
Algunos incluso necesitan su rutina de baño, cuento, todo en un orden especifico. Y esto esta bien, yo amo las rutinas pero siempre tiene que estar toda la familia de acuerdo y que el hecho de no poder seguir al pie de la letra este ritual no genere un mal estar al bebé o niño/a.
En la mayoría de los casos las manías no nos afectan, y generalmente cuando nuestro peque va creciendo y aumentando la seguridad en sí mismo las manías que tenía suelen ir desapareciendo.
Ahora bien, si la manía de nuestro bebé resulta molesta o causa daño (muchos se muerden) debemos intervenir.
Pues la mayoría de las veces podemos derivar la atención a otra actividad que sea incompatible con su manía.
Disminuir el aburrimiento o la ansiedad puede resultar efectivo si notamos que las manías aumentan con estas situaciones. Proponer actividades como la meditación, la respiración controlada pueden resultar muy beneficioso.
Como os comentaba al principio me decido a escribir sobre esto ahora que Alejandro ha adquirido manías que resultan realmente molestas.
Con mis anteriores hijos no nos ocurrió esta situación, podríamos decir que la única manía de Dulce es su dou-dou que aun hoy en día lo conserva para dormir.
Pero con Alejandro es diferente, muchas veces nos planteamos si estas manías que tiene son derivadas de su problema con el habla.
Alejandro acaba de cumplir 2 años y desde siempre necesito mucho contacto, cosa que es totalmente normal. Hace un año cogió la costumbre que para dormir necesita estar pegado a mi pero ahora llega un punto de que necesita pellizcarme para dormirse.
Esto me ocasiono heridas en el ombligo, porque sí, aunque resulte raro el me pellizca el ombligo. Al intentar esta costumbre se irrita mucho.
Observándolo también me di cuenta de que no puede ver lo primero que aparece en la televisión debe elegir y se aburre con mucha frecuencia. Algo que es normal en bebés pero que nos hizo sospechar cuando no aguanta ni 5 minutos…
Además de todo esto muerde…Vamos que tenemos un combo bien completo de manías.
Ahora nos encontramos intentando modificar este comportamiento, siempre desde el respeto, cariño y por supuesto respetando sus tiempos para adaptarse a que esto «duele» y no puede hacerlo.
Como siempre os digo cada bebé es un mundo y lo que a unos les pasa puede que a otros no así que familias paciencia infinita.

The childhood and youth of the young de Funes cannot be called happy and in any way connected with art. A little disheveled boy, who had no abilities for school sciences, broke the applause of his peers in the only way he knew. He incomparably copied the habits of the hated teachers, for which he was regularly expelled from the class. It is not surprising that at the age of ten, the local educational institute put a bold cross on the tomboy, which did not prevent him from sinning in half, but graduating from a crappy provincial lyceum. After that, he got a job in a sewing workshop, where he quickly hated the bourgeois director and his favorite – a canary. A week later, the guy was put out, caught throwing pins at a bird whose feathers began to come out due to nervous stress. Then the boy was expelled from the photo studio, where he started a fire by throwing a firecracker in a desk drawer.
The next and far from the last destination was a hat shop, from where the young de Funes was kicked for … a love of cinema. Having seen enough of Chaplin’s pranks, he playfully splashed water in the manager’s face. Then the young man was a shoe shiner, a window dresser, a tinsmith, a traveling salesman, a furrier… And then… then there was a war that found the Frenchman playing the pianist of an obscure Parisian eatery.
Despite the stormy protests of the family, Jeannine fell in love with the silly guy with all her heart, who managed to break a flower pot when meeting her parents – the pride of her mother. The film “Not Caught – Not a Thief” directed by Yves Robert, filmed in 1958, de Funes gets the main role – the poacher Bléro?. This film brings him worldwide fame. After the release of this film abroad, he was nicknamed Donald Duck. In Russia, this film is better known as “Blero”. In the 60s, de Funes reached the peak of popularity. He does three or four films a year. Filmed in the Fantômas trilogy directed by Andre Hunebel. The director planned to shoot ten episodes of the famous trilogy, but due to the not too great popularity of the final film Fantomas vs. Scotland Yard, the idea was closed on this, as well as the famous trilogy. 
Louis de Funes himself spoke about his career: “I do not regret the slow development of my career. This slowness helped me to understand thoroughly my profession. When I was still unknown, I tried to paint with details, facial expressions, gestures the small roles that I was assigned. Thus, I acquired some comic baggage, without which I could not have made a career. Therefore, if I start again, then I would not give up this path.” 
After a while, he agrees, filming begins. Several more paintings followed, including the continuation of the adventures of the gendarmes. The film “The Gendarme in a Skirt” was the last in his film career. 
In a word, in the family he was a real tyrant. “He was a pure aristocrat who loved his own and only wife, surprised fish and grew roses. He did not like the noisy, ordinary life. He seemed to live in his own world, which he tried so that no one would touch. Louis de Funes died on January 27, 1983 years old.
