Todos hemos visto la saga de las películas de Toy Story y seguramente nos hemos conmovido con sus divertidas y poderosas historias de amistad, constancia y amor fraternal. Todas ellas nos hacen reflexionar acerca de cómo llevamos nuestra propia dinámica familiar y nos da algunas ideas ingeniosas para mejorarla. Los niños aprenden de la manera más divertida posible, literalmente. Recuerdo que, de niña las películas de Toy Story me hacían reír y me conmovían muchísimo por la fuerte amistad de Buzz y Woody.
Ahora de adulta, puedo ver que el mensaje de Toy Story va más allá pues enseña a los niños cómo integrarse a los grupos, las consecuencias de tratar mal a alguien o discriminarlo solo por ser diferente, el valor de una amistad que realmente te apoya, sobre la responsabilidad, el reconocer que todos nos equivocamos y la importancia resarcir dichos errores para tener el perdón de todos y perdonarnos a nosotros mismos.
Quizás todas estas enseñanzas suenen un poco complicadas para que un niño las entienda, pero créeme, que con la guía parental adecuada y el paso del tiempo, estas enseñanzas se irán esclareciendo y adquiriendo sabiduría.

1. ¡Al infinito… Y más allá!
La frase más célebre de la película. Esto no solo representa el lema de Buzz, sino que a lo largo de toda la trayectoria, nos hace entender que siempre hay que soñar en grande y nunca darnos por vencido.
2. Eso no es volar, eso es… ¡Caer con estilo!
Aunque Woody use esta frase para burlarse de Buzz por su función de vuelo, el mismo Buzz nos da un nuevo mensaje al usarla para referirse a que podemos hacer algo bien, muy bien, pero siempre hay que tener humildad ante ello en lugar de soberbia al presumirlo.
3. Ser juguete es mejor que ser un guardián del espacio
Cuando Buzz se da cuenta de su verdadero rol, lo acepta y lo aprecia. Esto nos deja una hermosa enseñanza de querernos tal y como somos en lugar de ser alguien más, solo por aceptación social.

Los divertidos y adorables extraterrestres de Pizza Planeta nos dejan este simple pero hermoso valor de siempre ser agradecido por lo que tenemos, lo que conseguimos y con quienes son amables con nosotros. Dar las gracias es uno de los valores más importantes porque reconoces la labor del otro.
5. Descuida Woody, en unas cuantas horas estarás sentado junto a una fogata asando maliciosos bizcos
Aunque era una graciosa despedida, Buzz no tenía siempre un buen léxico y esto nos enseña que está bien equivocarnos, especialmente en la infancia, porque siempre se tendrá la oportunidad de arreglarlo. También nos enseña que no todo es perfecto, a pesar de su apariencia de guardián intergaláctico poderoso.
6. Andy, debes entender que los juguetes no son para siempre

Sin embargo, no debemos verlo de manera negativa, sino como una manera de levantarnos siempre ante las adversidades. También trae un poderoso mensaje sobre no ser nunca dependientes de otra persona, sino incitar la independencia desde la infancia.
8. No puedo evitar que Andy crezca, pero no me lo perderé por nada del mundo
Woody nos deja esta frase con valores tanto para niños como padres, sobre aceptar los cambios que vienen con el crecimiento y las nuevas etapas que los niños deben atravesar. Pero ello no significa que no pueden acompañarlos en el camino.
