¿Hoy preparáis piruletas?
En el capítulo 74 del programa de televisión La repostería de Anna Olson T4, la cocinera experta en repostería Anna Olson prepara la deliciosa receta de Piruletas de uva (Colourful lollipops).
Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es preparar el molde para las piruletas. Cubrimos una bandeja apta para horno con papel vegetal y tamizamos 260-390 g de azúcar glas sobre ella para hacer una capa gruesa. La cantidad que se necesita depende del tamaño de nuestra bandeja; la capa de azúcar glas que necesitamos debe ser de 1 cm de grosor aproximadamente.
Para extender el azúcar por la bandeja usamos una espátula. No tenemos que compactarlo; hay que dejarlo suelto.
Cuando tengamos la capa de azúcar glas lista y nivelada, podemos hacer las formas de piruleta. Necesitamos un vaso de fondo plano de la forma que queráis y lo presionamos bien para compactar el azúcar glas. Debe quedar un borde de unos 6 mm alrededor. Ahí será donde pondremos el azúcar caliente para formar la piruleta.
Seguidamente presionamos los palitos para piruletas sobre el azúcar para que un extremo del palito quede dentro del molde.
Para preparar las piruletas vertemos 125 ml de zumo de uva en un cazo a fuego fuerte para reducirlo hasta que queden unas dos cucharadas. Tardará unos minutos.
En otro cazo ponemos 60 ml de agua, 200 g de azúcar y 60 ml de sirope de maíz blanco y lo llevamos a ebullición a fuego vivo. Tenemos que cocinar el azúcar hasta los 150ºC que es el llamado “punto duro” que es justo antes de convertirse en caramelo, pero se endurece lo suficiente como para que las piruletas tengan consistencia. Para este paso es importante utilizar un termómetro de cocina.
Cuando el azúcar haya alcanzado los 150ºC lo apartamos del fuego y añadimos el zumo de uva concentrado. Removemos bien.
Seguidamente echamos un cucharón en cada uno de los moldes que hemos preparado hasta cubrir el palito de la piruleta.
Si el azúcar comienza a endurecerse, podéis recalentarlo a fuego bajo para volverlo a fundir.
Para decorar la piruleta podéis espolvorear encima fideos de colores o perlas de azúcar.
Esperamos unos 20 minutos hasta que se endurezcan.
Cuando las piruletas se hayan endurecido, las sacamos de los moldes y les quitamos el exceso de azúcar glas con un pincel o con un paño.
Para finalizar, podemos servirlas, guardarlas en un recipiente hermético o envolverlas en plástico para regalarlas.

Cuando el azúcar se funda y empiece a hervir, y durante todo el proceso, de vez en cuando tenemos que coger un pincel mojado en agua y limpiar las paredes del cazo. Esto impedirá que el azúcar que al hervir toca las paredes del cazo se enfríe y cristalice.

Rivet is a new playable character in the series who will make her debut in the upcoming Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. However, the heroine managed to conquer the Internet long before the release of the game. A significant role in this was played by the developers themselves, who paid a lot of attention to it in the promotional campaign. Recently, developers from Insomniac Games told Variety about the creation of the heroine. We have selected the main points from their interview. This article contains minor spoilers for Rivet’s backstory from Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Early ideas
At the beginning of development, the authors faced a classic problem: how to surprise experienced players who know everything about the heroes of the franchise, and attract the attention of newcomers who are not at all familiar with the universe.
Creative Director of the game Marcus Smith admits that the idea of parallel universes came to the authors after watching the film 1947 years “It’s a wonderful life.”
“It’s a Wonderful Life”
The protagonist of the picture is disappointed in his life, and an angel descends to him, who shows the man another world in which it does not exist. Smith and the rest of the team were drawn to the idea of exploring how the characters would have changed under different life circumstances. For example, what would happen to Ratchet without Clank.
Therefore, the team began to come up with alternative versions of the heroes. The authors had an idea to create an ordinary evil double of Ratchet, but the idea was abandoned immediately. According to Smith, then the plot would be more like a soap opera, in which the main villain differs from the hero only in an eye patch. nine0003
They also thought about creating complete opposites of the main characters, but even with that, everything turned out to be not so simple.
Smith admits that such an approach would only work with one-dimensional characters: he considers the heroes of Ratchet & Clank versatile, so it’s hard to come up with antipodes for them.
As a result, the developers found the best option. The characters from the alternate universes are similar to the franchise’s longtime heroes, but they have personality traits shaped by their experiences. Therefore, Rivet cannot be called an ordinary female copy of Ratchet: her character is unique, and he was influenced by life in a gloomy world. nine0003

Like Ratchet, Rivet has been fighting Nefarius for a long time, but in her dimension, the villain constantly wins. In one of the battles, the heroine lost her arm and now uses prostheses that can be changed in the game. Besides, Rivet doesn’t have a partner.
Markus Smith notes that at first the authors wanted to make a terminator character out of Rivet, who would not trust anyone and tried to kill Clank at the first meeting.
However, the team realized that they needed to reflect the traits of Ratchet in the heroine, who is constantly looking for positive. nine0003
Even though Rivet doesn’t trust the robot right away, she’s not going to be insolent without a reason. In general, the authors describe her as a character who has not lost optimism, despite all the trials she has gone through.
Despite her stern appearance and seeming aloof, Rivet is never cynical, angry, or cruel. Of course, she may not know how to behave better in public, but you definitely can’t call her shy! The heroine has a clear task: to protect herself and the innocents who are being tortured by Emperor Nefarius and his thugs. nine0003

As for the gameplay, the authors initially wanted to give the playable heroes different abilities and equipment. However, they quickly changed their minds as they decided that the players would be disappointed if they couldn’t, for example, make Ratchet something that only Rivet could do.
Also, the developers did not want gamers to have a favorite because of certain features. That is why Insomniac made the characters identical and the progress shared. nine0003
They have the same abilities, but the player develops them at the same time, passing Rift Apart. Therefore, every time you upgrade a weapon, both heroes get it. The same thing happens if you collect something. With this approach, it really feels like the game experience is not interrupted, even if you control different characters.

The final touch in creating the image of Rivet was the choice of voice actress. The role went to Jennifer Hale, who is well known to gamers: for example, she voiced the female version of Shepard in the Mass Effect trilogy.
