Significado
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu here points out to the brahmana that the Mayavadi philosophers are unable to understand the qualitative unity of the living entity and the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Not recognizing this truth, they believe that living beings under the influence of Maya , as it were, separated from the original Brahman. By conviction Mayavadis, The Absolute Truth is ultimately impersonal. They think that when the incarnation of God or God Himself descends here, He is covered with a veil of maya. In other words, the impersonalists Mayavadis consider the body of the Lord to be a product of the material world. Lack of knowledge prevents them from understanding that Krishna’s body is inseparable from Himself. Krishna’s body and Himself are one Absolute Truth. Lacking perfect knowledge of Krishna, such impersonalists inevitably offend His lotus feet. That is why they do not utter the name Krishna, the original name of the Absolute Truth. They pronounce only the name of the impersonal Brahman, the spiritual soul in nature, putting into it an impersonal meaning. In other words, they prefer indirect designations of the Absolute Truth. Even if Mayavadis sometimes pronounce the name Govinda, Krishna or Madhava, they still do not understand that these names are not different from the person who wears them. Because deep down such people are staunch impersonalists, even when they utter the name of the Personality of Godhead, it has no power. In fact, they do not believe in Krishna at all, and they consider all of His names to be material sound. Unable to appreciate the holy name of the Lord, they utter words indirectly referring to Him, such as Brahman, atma and chaitanya.
The truth, however, is that the holy name of Krishna and Krishna Himself are spiritual. Everything related to Krishna is transcendental, real and blissful. As for the conditioned soul, he is different both from his own body and from the name given by the father. Self-identification of a living entity with material objects does not allow him to reach his true position. Although the living entity’s eternal calling is to serve Krishna, he is busy in other ways. Svarupa of the living being, that is, his true nature, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu describes as follows: The conditioned soul has forgotten what he should do according to his original nature. However, this does not apply to Krishna. The name of Krishna and the personality of Krishna are identical. Maya simply does not exist for Krishna, because Krishna is not a product of the material world. There is no difference between Krishna’s body and His soul. Krishna is both soul and body. The distinction between body and soul exists only in the case of conditioned living beings. The body of a conditioned living being is different from his soul, and the name of a conditioned living being is different from his body. A person may be called John, but if you just say this name, John is unlikely to appear before us. However, if we chant the holy name of Krishna, Krishna immediately appears on our tongue. In the Padma Purana, Krishna says: mad-bhakt± yatra g±yanti tatra tish±mi narada — “O Narada, I am present where the devotees sing My name. ” When devotees chant the holy name of Krishna—Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare/Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare—Lord Krishna immediately appears there.
